During the airgun’s firing cycle, a series of vibrational impulses are transmitted to the barrel and interfere with accuracy.
For this reason, some airgun manufacturers develop different devices to be installed in the barrel, mainly on rifles, and among them is the muzzle brake, which is a common accessory for firearms. But airguns are different from firearms in many ways, and the muzzle brake installed on an air rifle has a very different function and performance from the muzzle brake installed on a firearm.
Barrel vibration also varies according to the energy of the air rifle and the weight of the pellet used, so the muzzle brake that works well in a certain rifle may not work as well in another and the same happens if you use different pellets or slugs.
To solve this problem, we designed the Quickshot muzzle brake with an adjustable chamber, which allows the shooter to find the best point for the air rifle and pellet/slug used.
The muzzle brake with Adjustable Chamber made by Quickshot allows you to find the sweet spot by turning its end and noting the number shown on the scale at its top, after firing a series of pellets and observing their groupings on the target. Thus, you can create your own table of different pellets according to the groupings achieved for each number on the scale engraved on the muzzle brake.
The muzzle brake QuickShot Pro with Adjustable Chamber does not act as a recoil reducer, as this type of device does in firearms, but acts as a Harmonic Vibration reducer, common in all weapons due to the internal pressure in the barrel and the speed of the projectile and such reduction is of great importance to improve accuracy.
