The piston seal plays an important role in defining the performance of the airgun. Contrary to what many people think, the piston seal should not shape to better fit into the chamber according to the use and the number of shots fired, and it has been proven in the past that the best piston seals return to their original shape after being removed from the cylinder, therefore the piston seal must be made of suitable material and maintain the best machining tolerance standard in order to keep the pressure homogeneous from shot to shot.<\/p>

For this reason, the piston seal must be designed to very tight tolerances and made of material that provides the most suitable hardness and is also resistant to heat and friction caused by piston stroke and spring energy.<\/p>

In order that the seal does not fail inside the airgun, without prior notice, we carry out research and tests to obtain the material that best adapts to different springer airguns, producing different energies at the muzzle, so that even after a long period of use , the new sealing material does not show any signs of degradation.<\/p>

Quickshot piston seals have a low coefficient of friction and are produced using synthetic compounds that provide excellent resistance to friction and also to heat. The piston seal original shape is maintained for a long time. They are also impact resistant, thus providing a better air seal without suffering cracks or fissures.<\/p>
